In My Chair: The Never-Ending Neck Project

Two-year neck rejuvenation treatment progression showing gradual improvement in skin quality, texture, firmness, and overall appearance of Laurie’s neck.

Let's talk necks.... specifically mine.

Neck rejuvenation usually isn’t one treatment. Aging in the neck can involve loose skin, platysmal bands, collagen loss and changes in structure, which often require a combination approach.

And trust me, I know this firsthand. Let’s talk necks… specifically mine.

I’ve treated with it all: Botox® to relax my tight platysmal bands, filler and Radiesse® to rebuild structure, Ultherapy® to tighten, micro needling to smooth, and threads to lift. Each treatment helped… but the truth is, the neck is a moving target 🎯. The skin here is thin, constantly moving, and one of the first places to show time and gravity.

So yes, even as a seasoned injector, I’m still chasing my own neck. Not because the treatments don’t work, but because the neck demands layering and consistency. It’s the long game of aesthetic care.

I have to remind myself (and occasionally scroll through old photos) to remember how far I've come — and how bad it could’ve been if I’d done nothing.

My standards are high, of course. After all, I have those foolish little voices whispering that every one of you is secretly staring at my neck.

We're all chasing something. Aging gracefully isn’t about pretending nothing changes, it’s about staying in the game and keeping the glow.
